HEALTH CARE:

Business apart, we have a strong social commitment to help the critically ill to meet their healthcare needs. Substantial donations are given to VHS, Cancer Institute, Madras Medical Foundation, Sankara Nethralaya, Kidney Foundations & other institutions.

Help is provided to individuals with heart, renal and diabetic problems who cannot afford the increasing costs.

SMT SHANTABEN NAGARDAS DAMANI TRUST
Smt. Shantaben Nagardas Damani Trust is aimed at providing shelter for the homeless. The trust is involved in building free homes for the poor and the needy.

EMPATHY FOUNDATION
The Empathy foundation helps in improving the quality of lives in rural areas by providing critical healthcare and education. The trust undertakes educational and medical projects for Grampanchayat & Zillah Paris. Initiatives for betterment of rural school life are conducted. Free medical (eye) camps, repairs & restoration, construction of dams, ponds are also undertaken.

The trust donated 1 Semi Automated Bio-Chemistry Analyzer to Rajawadi Municipal Hospital.

Empathy Foundation works with local administrative bodies in rural/urban areas to build & improve existing infrastructure of school

Anganwadi & New school buildings are constructed with the foundation's funds for Grampanchayat & Zilla Parishad & N.G.O schools in Ratnagiri, Raigad, Satara, Pune & Kolhapur districts in rural Maharashtra followed by many more in progress. Empathy Foundation has upgraded infrastructure in many rural school is across Maharashtra. Initiatives like construction of new class rooms, toilet blocks, water tanks; repairing of flooring, roofs, compound walls. Construction have been initiated by the Foundation for creating a conductive learning environment at Zilla Parishad schools in Solapur, Sindhudurg, Ratnagiri, Raigad & Beed districts.
